Tenant guide

Your landlord works with Badri.
Your rent stays the same.

Same amount, same due date, same lease. For a few months, you'll simply pay Badri instead of your landlord — and we'll remind you before every due date.

You already pay monthly — and it works.

Badri pays your landlord part of the year's rent early. You keep paying monthly, exactly as you do today.

What stays the same

  • Your rent amount
  • Your due date each month
  • Your lease, its terms and your rights under it
  • Your landlord — for maintenance, repairs and your deposit

What changes

  • For the months in your notice, you pay Badri instead of your landlord.
  • You get a reminder 3 days before each due date, and on the day.
  • You get a receipt for every payment, from Badri.
Why pay through Badri

Same rent. More in return.

Paying Badri costs you nothing extra, and you get things that paying in cash never gave you.

Proof of every payment

An official receipt from Badri for every month, so there's never a question about what you paid.

Pay your way

Short on cash this month? Pay by credit card or with an instalment app like valU or Halan.

A reward for paying on time

Pay every month on or before the due date, and we take 5% off your last month.

A rating that helps you

Pay every month on time and keep your account rated high. It helps you with any landlord you rent from next.

Payments made to your landlord instead of Badri don't count toward the reward or your rating.

How it works

Three steps for your landlord. One for you.

  1. 01

    Your landlord adds the lease

They apply in the Badri app.

  2. 02

    One short house visit

We confirm the lease and that you live there. Your landlord arranges the time with you.

  3. 03

    Badri pays your landlord

Your landlord gets some months' rent early. Nothing is charged to you.

  4. 04 · You

    You pay monthly

Same amount, same date — by payment link, InstaPay or bank transfer.

Paying late?

Only the late-payment penalty already written in your lease applies, if there is one. Badri adds no fees of its own. If you're going to be late, tell us early — it's always easier to sort out.

Moving out?

Leaving works exactly as your lease says.

You

Follow the notice terms in your lease and tell your landlord.

Your landlord

Finds the next tenant. Badri sorts out the remaining months with them, not you.

Your deposit

Stays between you and your landlord, as always.

Months you've paid

Every payment to Badri is receipted and counts toward your lease.

Stay safe

Make sure a payment request is really from Badri.

If anything looks off, don't pay — contact your landlord or reply to our official number first.

FAQ

Questions tenants ask

Does my lease change?

No. Your landlord has assigned the rent for some months to Badri. Everything else in your lease stays exactly as it is.

Can I keep paying my landlord directly?

For the months in your notice, please pay Badri so your payment is recorded correctly. If you've already paid your landlord by mistake, tell us and we'll sort it out with them — you won't pay twice.

Do I pay anything extra?

No. You pay your normal rent. Badri's discount and any fee are paid by your landlord, not you.

Who do I call about repairs or my deposit?

Your landlord, as always. Badri only handles the rent payments for the assigned months.

What if I want to move out?

Follow the notice terms in your lease and tell your landlord. Your rights and obligations under the lease don't change.

Why does my landlord use Badri?

Badri pays landlords part of the year's rent early. For you, nothing changes except who you send the rent to for those months.

What do you do with my details?

We use your name, phone number and lease details only to collect rent, send reminders and receipts, and contact you about your payments.
